In 1917 Sam Loyd Junior worked along side Thomas
Edison to bring some of his fathers puzzles to life. These included the famous
Quarrelsome Neighbours which he created when he was only nine years old.
Edison's idea was to prepare a number of short educational films which could be
shown in the classroom by teachers. Long forgotten these classic silent movies
where rediscovered by puzzle collector Michael Tanoff, for which The Sam Loyd
Company is very grateful for sharing with us and puzzlists around the world.
